The Grand Hotel Flora Rome Marriott is a historic, 19th-century hotel located at the top of Via Veneto next to Villa Borghese park. The palatial hotel was one of the grand stopovers in the heyday of 'La Dolce Vita' and has now been fully restored, offering spacious, beautifully furnished bedrooms overlooking the Villa Borghese gardens. Of the 127 rooms and 24 suites, no two are alike. They are all tastefully furnished with superb antique tables, china, and bronzes, paintings and prints, and embellished with rare and precious silk, brocade and velvet to create a warm and cozy atmosphere. The Presidential Suites are all situated on the hotel's upper floors to enjoy a splendid view over Via Veneto, Villa Borghese and Porta Pinciana.
The seventh-floor roof garden restaurant is seventh heaven with one of the greatest views over Rome. There is also the ground-floor Cabiria Restaurant, with cherrywood panelling, leather-upholstered sofas and chairs and precious crystal, silver and porcelain tableware. Every day for lunch and dinner, guests can savor traditional Neapolitan cuisine creatively interpreted by the chef Luigi Sorrentino using Italian flair.
