Re-opening for the season in mid-April, Mezzatorre Resort & Spa is located in Forio on the west coast of the island of Ischia with beautiful sunsets and local vineyards that produce some of the finest wines on the island. The hotel is set imposingly on a headland with a breathtaking vista of the sea and is built around a 16th-century watchtower housing romantic rooms and suites.
All accommodations, mostly with terrace and sea view, are elegantly appointed with a refined atmosphere. The poolside Restaurant SciuéSciué serves local and regional dishes, salads, and snacks. From June to Septemebr the Restaurant SciuéSciué also serves dinner. La Piazzetta outdoor bar is open from 12pm to 9pm while the Gazebo Lounge & Piano Bar features live entertainment from 9pm until midnight.

Transportation: Taxis in Napoli run from the airport to the port, Piazza Municipio. From the port, hydrofoils (passengers) and ferries (cars) connect to the island of Ischia. The hotel can arrange private limousine transfers from the airport to the ferry port and from the port on Ischia to the hotel.
Driving Directions: From the port on Ischia, turn right to Forio and follow the signs to the hotel. A car is recommended for exploring the area. |
