12 Dream Destinations in Asia

12 Dream Destinations in Asia
The list contains twelve Asian destinations, and includes a mix of lesser-known spots and more popular locations. As befits the company's name, many of the destinations listed are truly remote and off the beaten track - destinations such as Nepal's little-known Mustang region, Myanmar's idyllic Mergui Archipelago, India's Nagaland, and Thailand's dive hotspot the Similan Islands. More well-known spots include Japan's winter sports mecca Hokkaido, China's historic Silk Road region, and the Philippines' idyllic Palawan. There's also an inclusion for one of the world's newest natural wonders, Vietnam's enormous Son Doong cave.

Remote Lands works with the very best properties, guides, local experts and transport suppliers in each location to ensure that clients have the ultimate travel experience, whether they are relaxing at a luxury beach resort in Palawan or trekking through the mountains of Mustang.

“Our first Dream Destinations list, in 2013, proved extremely popular with clients, travel agents and the media alike” says Catherine Heald, Remote Lands' co-founder and CEO, “and we're sure the 2014 list, which features more far-flung places, will generate even more interest. The list reflects our team's enthusiasm and expertise in seeking out amazing Asian destinations and turning them into unforgettable holidays.”
