This is the culinary genius created by Chef Masa Takayama. The eatery is located in the Time Warner Center and the chef advises that you be prepared to stay for a while as the meal service takes about three hours total. There is no set menu; the chef simply comes up with creations based on your suggestions. Also, you might want to come with a loaded wallet since the dinner tab of $350 per person can add up quick, even for just two people!

Le Pre Catelan – Paris, France

At this Parisian restaurant, you will find yourself dining right in the middle of Bois de Boulogne. The dishes aren't too pricey, starting out at under $100 each, but they do offer a five-course meal that will set your wallet on its ear a bit. That one comes in at just under $200 per person. However, with that you get such things as prawn ravioli, or veal that features a cinnamon scented purée as a side dish. Most patrons go for the bread and wine, which of course are always important no matter where you find yourself eating.
