Adrian Zecha Curated Private Club to Debut on Miami River
A modern take on the world’s most prestigious clubs, like Beijing’s Jockey Club, Hong Kong’s China Club, London’s Soho House, Aspen’s Caribou and New York’s Core Club, the Sky Club at One River Point will introduce a new Miami social scene 60-stories over downtown where members can relax, have fun, and even work. The membership roster will call for an active and eclectic mix of entrepreneurs, politicians, creative class members, techies, international celebrities and models, fostering an edgy atmosphere where friends and acquaintances can meet for cocktails, fine dining and more in a stylish and intimate setting.

The 35,000 square foot Sky Club will be the new high water mark among Miami’s private clubs. Members will enjoy three levels of club amenities including a 10,000 square foot skybridge club garden and terrace, as well as other privileges that include: fine-dining indoor and outdoor restaurants, private and public dining rooms, craft cocktail bar, cigar lounge, chef’s kitchen, and temperature-controlled wine cellar and tasting room. A screening and media room, library and resident’s lounge, and business center with private meeting rooms round-out the club’s signature elements. The Sky Club will also feature a pre-approved membership opportunity for residents, as well as access to 25 deluxe club suites for members’ guests.

All aspects of the design and service will be curated by Adrian Zecha, acclaimed worldwide for pioneering an entire new market segment in the hotel industry with Amanresorts and fostering the once revolutionary concept that luxury is the outcome of an experience, not a product. The Indonesian hotelier cultivated a loyal following of celebrities, royals and members of the leisure class affectionately known as “Amanjunkies” built around brand pillars of hotels that were small, personal, unique, and located in beautiful places. Zecha was also one of the co-founders of Regent International Hotels and today presides as a director and non-executive chairman of General Hotel Management Ltd (GHM), a developer and manager of luxury hotels and resorts with locations in Bali, Switzerland, Oman and Vietnam.

Set to rise more than 780 feet from its riverside base at 24 Southwest Fourth Street, One River Point, designed by internationally acclaimed architect Rafael Viñoly -- the architect behind the tallest building in the western hemisphere and New York’s most coveted address -- will consist of two graceful towers connected at the summit by a three-story floating glass skybridge.

Nestled within a private landscaped park on the Miami River, Rafael Viñoly sought to create the ultimate lifestyle in the heart of downtown Miami. A cascading 85-foot waterfall that courses down a floating four-story podium is one of the many design statements that are hallmarks of this unique vision. Among the many signature elements that enhance the experience of being an owner at One River Point are a waterfront restaurant and lounge set on the River promenade, an infinity-edge oasis pool and regulation size lap pool, poolside café and restaurant with butler service, private cabanas, fitness center and Med Spa.

One River Point will feature approximately 350 bespoke residences with private elevator landings, ceiling heights 10 to 12 feet, expansive open layouts with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, honed stone flooring, designated art walls with task lighting, multi-zone climate control integrated with smart-home technology, 12-foot deep glass enclosed outdoor living terraces with sweeping vistas of the Miami River, Biscayne Bay and the city skyline. The towers will also include individually tailored penthouses, SkyLofts and SkyVillas that range from 5,000 to 12,000 square feet and feature expansive terraces and private pools.

This transformative project set on 1.8 acres will create a residential oasis offering intimacy and exclusivity, as well as a superior range of the leisure, entertainment and business facilities of a world-class resort. Exceptional features available that add to the range of the lifestyle amenities on offer include: a-la-carte in-residence dining and spa treatments, white glove concierge services, and a multi-level security program complete with biometric access. An on-site central vault, rotating art exhibits by an internal curator, as well as art storage space will allow avid art collectors to enjoy premium service.

Strategically located in the city’s buzzing epicenter, just steps from the Brickell financial district and Brickell City Centre, and within minutes from Miami Beach, the Port of Miami, major international airports, and cultural landmarks such as the Adrienne Arsht Center, American Airlines Arena and Perez Art Museum, One River Point is the ultimate destination for those who seek to be part of the new Miami.

Residences will range from 1,000 to 12,000 square feet, with prices starting from $850,000. Sales are set to commence in the Fall of 2015.
