Amangiri Launches Pilates Program in Utah's Canyon Country
The Aman Pilates studio, located adjacent to the gym at Amangiri, boasts two Allegro Reformers, one Allegro Tower and a full range of state-of-the-art Pilates equipment. Individual 60-minute Pilates classes are offered exclusively to Amangiri guests and are led by Amangiri instructors, who have undergone intensive training with Ivana Daniell, the director of the global Aman Pilates program and a Pilates instructor and movement therapist with more than 25 years of experience.

Before the first Aman Pilates session at Amangiri, all participants undergo a specially designed, 30-minute postural assessment conducted by an Aman Pilates instructor. The process seeks to analyse each guest's postural alignment, strength and flexibility, in order to tailor an individual program to suit each participant's needs and goals. All Aman Pilates students will receive a copy of the postural assessment report to take with them, share with their personal trainers or other sports professionals, and incorporate into their own fitness routines to achieve personal fitness and wellness goals.

"The postural assessment provided by our Aman Pilates session is integral to our approach to health and fitness," says Greg Payne, Group Spa Manager for Amanresorts, "as it identifies imbalances within the body and we then work on a personalized program of realignment."

The hour-long Aman Pilates sessions incorporate both mat-based Pilates and Allegro Pilates (using the highly versatile moving platform known as the Reformer), and are priced at $150 for individual sessions; $90 per person, for group classes of two participants; and $70 per person, for group classes of three.
