10 Ingredient Caribbean Culinary Course (bookable March 10-December 10)

For those who want to come away from their visit with a few more notches to their apron, the hotel will be offering private cooking workshops, led by the resort's head chef and utilizing just 10 local ingredients. Guests will be given an introduction to cooking with the region's produce including conch, mahi mahi, plantain, and coconuts and will then be taken through the steps to create some of the Caribbean's signature dishes including conch chowder and Caribbean jerk fish with plantain chips. Classes will take place in one of the resort's private villas and will be followed by a lunch where guests will be able to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

10 Day Raw Food and Mindful Retreat (bookable March 10-December 10)

Providing a more holistic experience and ideal for those looking for a detox of the mind as well as body, Amanyara has curated a 10 day raw and food mindful retreat. This all-encompassing retreat will begin with a consultation with the resort's movement and treatment specialists and will include a specially created menu comprised of raw food dishes such as amberjack crudo with cucumber-habanero gazpacho, and yellow fin tuna ceviche with ponzu dressing, de-stress and detox yoga, rejuvenating spa treatments and purifying wraps, beach meditation and Erika Bloom pilates sessions. Taking place over 10 days in the picturesque natural confines of Amanyara, whose name stands for “peaceful retreat”, the experience will leave guests feeling refreshed from within, centered, and with an elevated sense of well-being.

Tennis and Living Retreat (April 14-18)

Guests can achieve peak performance with an innovative lifestyle, tennis and wellness retreat taking place at Amanyara this April. The four-day tennis course, led by former professional tennis player Peter Rennert, features the Effortless Way and Rekinetics methods and is designed to improve consistency, power and conditioning as well as reduce and remove physical restrictions and pain. Program features include tennis and Rekinetics sessions, group breakfasts and dinners, morning meditation sessions, discussions and live music.
