Amsterdam's Hotel Pulitzer Completes Renovation
Interior Designers Bentel & Bentel, best known for designing two of New York City's most iconic restaurants, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMa)'s restaurant Modern and Gramercy Tavern, oversaw the re-design of this property located in the old city center of Amsterdam. Comprised of 25 17th and 18th century restored historic townhouses and loft buildings, many of which include split level guest rooms, Hotel Pulitzer surrounds an interior garden and overlooks two of Amsterdam's most scenic canals, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht.

The newly renovated rooms are warm and fresh, featuring rich materials including gold and ivory leathers, mahogany woods, stone and textured fabrics. In-room color schemes include vibrant yellows and golds which compliment the cool grays, blues and greens found in the city of Amsterdam. The Tuinzaal, a,722 square foot event facility features an abundance of natural light, top-of-the line audio visual technology, wireless high speed internet access, and video conferencing services available for meetings. The Hotel Pulitzer offers the expertise of two on-site wedding planners available to guide and assist guests with both weddings and other special events. Seven additional meeting and event spaces are also offered at Hotel Pulitzer, including the 861-square-foot Saxenburgzaal room, decorated in an elegant Baroque-style, and the 226-square-foot Board Room, available for more intimate meetings. Additionally, an antique canal boat, built in 1902, is also available for private parties and events and is ideal for those seeking a trip along Amsterdam's famous canals.
