Arts Bar at The St. Regis Venice Delivers International Intrigue with New Spy Martini Cocktail

If intrigue is your game, The St. Regis Venice’s Arts Bar has designed a charming cocktail, the Spy Martini, inspired by the legendary fictional British Secret Service agent, James Bond. Shaken and stirred just in time the heralded return of the Venice Film Festival, the oldest and one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world. The Spy Martini takes its cue from the three distinct James Bond movies filmed in Venice: “Casino Royale”, “From Russia with Love” & “Moonraker” and the legendary spy’s habit of ordering vodka martinis.

The innovative Arts Bar mixologists crafted this bespoke cocktail to celebrate the 80th edition of the Venice Film Festival. This version of the Vodka Martini features Altamura Vodka and a little Venetian touch to the world-renowned drink. Bond famously wants his martini to be ‘shaken not stirred’, but martinis are traditionally stirred, in this case, the cocktail is shaken to maintain the master spy’s take on this drink.
