Auberge du Soleil Partners with Master Sommelier for New Friday Flights
With one glass for red and one for white, The One is designed to bring out the best elements of both red and white varietals while eliminating the need for multiple glasses depending on the varietal used. Auberge du Soleil's Wine Director Kris Margerum consulted in developing the shape of The ONE which is ideal for use in restaurants and in private homes.

“Auberge du Soleil is a Napa Valley icon known for its prestigious wine and culinary history, so is the ideal partner to debut The ONE,” said Andrea Robinson.

The Friday Flights series will demonstrate the versatility of The ONE by featuring flights of three varietals of both red and white wines with a diverse selection of old and new world wines from Auberge du Soleil's Master Wine list, paired with a selection of cheeses and appetizers to compliment the varietals. Debuting August 24, Friday Flights will be held all day on Fridays in the Bistro & Bar, with the same selection of wines served throughout the following week in The ONE glass. Selections debut each Friday.

Auberge du Soleil was the vision of legendary French-born restaurateur Claude Rouas, who sought to recreate the sun-drenched ambiance of Provence in the California Wine Country.

Perched on the slope of Rutherford Hill overlooking Napa Valley, Auberge du Soleil quickly gained recognition as one of the leading restaurants in Northern California, not only for its superb cuisine, but also its spectacular views of the valley below.
