Azura Mozambique Announces Exciting Re-launch

Azura, Mozambique, has announced it will re-launch this July, in time for that perfect summer escape. The unfortunate bush fire late last year at Azura may well have paved the way for, if imaginable, a more exciting product for 2009. The owners and management plan to recreate the beauty of Azura with additions so outstanding they will reinforce its title as Mozambique's finest boutique retreat.

The award winning design and style of the retreat won't be altered drastically bar a few tweaks here and there. However, what is really going to push Azura into a league of its own is the arrival of the Presidential Villa, set to be one of the most luxurious private residences to be found anywhere in the Indian Ocean. Boasting three bedrooms, the master on a split level with
panoramic freeform bath & shower, the Presidential Villa opens up onto a 16m infinity swimming pool with amazing views out to Bazaruto Dune and the Indian Ocean beyond. It features a sitting
room with fireplace and all mod-cons, dining area, 'wine bar', tree house lounge and private kitchen with dedicated chef. Guests will feel like a king in their own private paradise, which
includes its own private beach area.

The second exciting new edition for Azura's re-launch is a beautifully exclusive two bedroomed private villa, called Villa Amizade, meaning friendship in Portuguese. With divine features such as a private 10m swimming pool, dining area, sitting room and 'wine bar', Villa Amizade has its own spot on the beach at the end of the property with fantastic views of the setting sun. Perfect for families or a couple requiring more facilities, it offers many of the presidential features in a smaller, more intimate fashion. For a group of four, it represents excellent unrivalled value for the ultimate getaway.

These alluring developments continue with a brand new watersports centre and manager on hand to help guests make the most out of the beautiful marine environment. For those dive
enthusiasts, there is still the PADI Gold Palm Dive Centre with top of the range Scubapro equipment and a full range of PADI courses. They also have all the gear needed for catching a
fish or two! Enhancing their nature conscious side, Azura's onsite marine biologist hopes to introduce turtle monitoring at the retreat following a three month training course in the
Caribbean.

Azura is being re-built with the same vision to harness the power of responsible tourism for the benefit of the local people whilst conserving the unique cultural and biological diversity of Benguerra Island. They plan to use the next few months to fully re-train its key staff, those accountable for its award winning success, ensuring that when Azura opens again in the summer, it will operate at the exceptionally high standards it is
renowned for.
