"We've worked with our event sponsors to bring all-day entertainment to those who choose Bar Harbor as their July 4th destination," said Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Chris Fogg.

A full day of events begins with a blueberry pancake breakfast, craft fair and marketplace, and a fun-filled parade. Maine's iconic crustacean also has a big role with the Annual Lobster Races held to benefit the Mt. Desert Island YMCA, and the Annual Rotary Club Seafood Festival that kicks off at 11 a.m. The Bar Harbor Town Pier is the ultimate venue with a view as a free concert series takes place from 4 to 9 p.m. The celebration concludes with fireworks over Frenchman Bay as the grand finale.

"It's great to see the town come together to make this special event happen. We're ready to welcome our visitors for a holiday to remember," added Fogg.
