Another legendary moment took place in the hotel when the Beatles learned 'I Want to Hold Your Hand' hit number one in the US and they were to play on the Ed Sullivan Show. Benson encouraged the band to have a pillow fight like they did a few nights earlier in hopes it would make some good pictures. Benson was able to create priceless shots – and the negatives of the photos were actually developed in the hotel’s bathtub.

50 years later, Four Seasons Hotel George V pays tribute to these legendary Beatles photos by hosting a unique exhibition of Harry Benson’s iconic work in the lobby and in front of Le Bar, mise en scène by the Hotel’s in-house Artistic Director Jeff Leatham. The tribute will run from June 15 – June 30.
