The weekend will kick-off on Friday, June 15th with an evening of comedy and jazz by the pool hosted by Bill Cosby and special guests to benefit the American Comedy Fund, a partnership between MPTF and Viacom Entertainment Group. Saturday, June 16th will begin with a midmorning roundtable discussion of industry stories, old and new, with actors, writers and directors, hosted by The Hollywood Reporter.

The day will continue at Noon with a cabana-chic, vintage-style pool party featuring a special performance.

The evening will kick off with the launch of an exhibition featuring classic photos from The Beverly Hills Hotel shot by legends of the photography world including Bruce Davidson, Anthony Friedkin, Terry O'Neil, Julius Shulman, and Julian Wasser. Anderson, official historian and great-grandson of the hotel's original owner, who wrote The Beverly Hills Hotel – The First 100 Years, will be on-hand to sign copies of the newly released book which features cherished never-before-seen images, historical documents and colorful anecdotes related to the hotel's fabled history. A selection of one-of-a-kind objects and ephemera from Anderson's archive will also be on view.

Additionally that evening, Brett Ratner will host an intimate cocktail celebration and dinner followed with a performance by the incomparable nine-time Grammy Award-winning artist, Mary J. Blige, the only artist with wins in Pop, Rap, Gospel and R&B.

The weekend will conclude on Sunday, June 17th with a special farewell brunch in the Polo Lounge hosted by Warren Beatty and MPTF Foundation Chair Jeffrey Katzenberg.

“We are using the milestone of our 100 year anniversary to benefit the MPTF because the industry has made The Beverly Hills Hotel its second home,” says Edward A. Mady, General Manager of The Beverly Hills Hotel. “We are thrilled to honor the MPTF community as we pay homage to the hotel's coveted heritage and the legendary guests we have served,” he adds.

“The Beverly Hills Hotel is part of the great success of the MPTF's annual ‘Night Before' (pre-Oscar) event. It has been our home from the very beginning,” says MPTF Founding Chairman Jeffrey Katzenberg. “There is something magical about this place and we are grateful that the proceeds of the 100th Anniversary celebration will allow MPTF to assist those in our industry who need our support whether through financial assistance, counseling, health care or senior care.”
