Blue Wates Resort & Spa Launches New Bespoke Wellness Program
Launching on May 1, 2017, the two brands will combine forces to provide ‘The Living Retreat' program, allowing guests to kick start their health and fitness and maintain a healthy lifestyle through a series of personalized, bespoke wellness programs, nutritional guidance, fitness sessions and more.

Living Retreats is aimed at helping guests to retreat, rebalance, recharge and achieve results. Aligned to these ideals, ‘The Living Retreat' program at Blue Waters Resort & Spa is a tailored lifestyle experience organized to provide activities that help guests achieve these functions. Many of these practices are designed to be continued at home as well, allowing guests to apply what they've learned at the resort to their everyday lives.

Retreat is achieved through Blue Waters Resort & Spa's tranquil setting. Situated on 17-acres of stunning tropical gardens, this idyllic Caribbean paradise is the perfect location for ‘The Living Retreat' program. This leads to rebalance, where guests begin with a personal consultation upon arrival to the resort. A series of comprehensive body evaluations will help expert lifestyle coaches create an ideal program for the individual by focusing on aspects such as nutritional guidance, stress management, sleep wellness, weight loss/gain, muscle tone, rehabilitation and corrective postural training, exercise testing and lung & heart functionality.

Guests can recharge through daily rotating meditation and strength training sessions. Classes will include yoga, Pilates, strength and conditioning, functional training, aqua and kayaking. Specially designed spa treatments will enhance the experience, while lifestyle coaches will also provide food presentations during lunch and topical juice presentations aimed at topics such as detox, weight loss, cleanses, vitality and more.

Participants can also recharge through healthy Living Retreats menu options, which will be offered at each of the resort's on-property restaurants. Guests dining at Cove Restaurant can enjoy dishes like Rosemary and Orange marinated Tuna on vegetable buckwheat salad, while those dining at Bartley's can savor dishes like Spicy Sweet Potato Soup with chipotle and coriander. Menu offerings are flexible, allowing participants and non-participants the freedom to dine together.

The results will leave guests feeling that they have achieved realistic goals, allowing them to embrace a pathway to continued success. They will feel revitalized, energized, relaxed, and looking and feeling fantastic.

“We are very excited to partner with Living Retreats and offer this new wellness amenity for our guests,” said Tony Randall, Managing Director, Blue Waters Resort & Spa. “With the increased demand among travelers for greater health and fitness offerings, we are confident ‘The Living Retreat' program will enhance our appeal as a wellness destination, in addition to Blue Waters being an ideal luxury Caribbean retreat.”

“We look forward to bringing our Living Retreats programming to Blue Waters Resort & Spa and expanding the resort's wellness offerings,” said Luke and Joanna Gray, Lifestyle Consultants, Living Retreats. “Our fitness and wellness method is based on individually designed programs to achieve healthy body and mind, and we make it accessible to everyone.”

‘The Living Retreat' program will run through October 31, 2017, and resume on May 1 – October 31, 2018 and is priced at $85 per person, per day with one-on-one sessions available at an additional $100 cost. The program will run daily from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests who book a Living Retreat program in advance, for 3 or more days, will also receive a complimentary 20-minute post-flight Elemis facial at the spa.
