Boston Marathon Victims & First Responders Offered Free European River Cruise
Inspired by the displays of courage and kindness after the Boston Marathon bombings, Vantage Deluxe World Travel CEO Henry R. Lewis worked in conjunction with the One Fund to give something unique back to these heroes as an expression of gratitude. Each of the heroes is invited to bring along one guest as a companion.

This exclusive vacation includes round-trip international airfare between Boston and Marseille, deluxe stateroom accommodations for six nights, all 21 meals with complimentary wine with dinner, and daily sightseeing and cultural activities. The cruise follows the southern Rhone river with port calls at Provencal highlights such as Avignon, Chateauneuf-duPape, Arles, Viviers, and more. Guests will visit three UNESCO World Heritage sites (Arles, Avignon, and the Pont du Gard) as well as an array of Vantage Cultural Connections: cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, local interaction, and lectures. Guests will also enjoy ©Vantage Travel Lifestyle features such as a pub-crawl and onboard entertainment. In addition to the cruise and air travel, all taxes and port charges, transfers and baggage handling are complimentary for these special guests.

One of the benefits of river cruising is the intimate size and luxurious style of the ship, better suited for talking with others about shared experiences.

According to Kevin Wallace, COO of Vantage Deluxe World Travel, “As a company we wanted to do something special to show our support and express our pride in Boston's tremendous spirit. It seemed only natural to do what we do best: treat people to the travel experience of a lifetime.” Wallace points out that the intimate size and luxurious amenities of Vantage's river ships make them conducive to relaxation and camaraderie. “We hope to give our heroes with a break from everyday cares, and a chance to relax, reinvigorate, and connect with other inspirational people who may understand the experiences they have gone through.”
