British Columbia's Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort Offers Wild-luxe Retreats
The new Wilderness and Wildlife retreats offer guests both marine and land based activities. Adventures include bear watching by boat or stand-up paddle board, whale watching, waterfall boat tours, kayaking day trips, rainforest hikes to a nearby lake for a swim, and saltwater fishing excursions. Guests may also choose to spend the day relaxing at Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort where they can get a massage, take a cooking class, or level their mind, body and spirit with a yoga class on the floating fire dock. Trips to neighbouring First Nations villages and world renowned museums like the U'mista Cultural Centre can also be arranged.

Guests of Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort experience gourmet food that includes fresh baking, and the chef's daily breakfast creation, along with home made granola and yogurt; picnic lunches served up during the daily adventures; evening cocktails and amuse-bouche on the floating fire dock; and three-course dinners featuring West Coast cuisine.

The rates for Wilderness and Wildlife retreats, which run from July 2 to Oct. 20, 2012 start at $895 CDN per person, per day. Package price includes accommodation in private cabins; all gourmet meals and house alcohol; casual salt water fishing, hiking and kayaking; glacier and waterfall tours; bear and whale watching; and the use of all resort amenities. Transportation to and from the resort, premium alcohol, spa treatments and fishing licenses are an additional charge.
