California's Surf & Sand Resort Completes Renovation
The modern coastal-chic design features a palate of soothing ocean colors and natural tones that are reflected in textiles and custom furnishings. With the completion of its $3 million renovation project that included the pool deck, Aquaterra Spa, and Splashes Restaurant, these new design elements have refreshed and transformed the idyllic ocean front resort to a more modern aesthetic, while maintaining the familiar feel for generations of families and guests that have vacationed at the resort for decades.

Surf & Sand Resort features 167 guest rooms, including 13 suites with 3 penthouses that sit terraced above the sea. Drawing inspiration from Surf & Sand Resort's pristine surroundings, the newly appointed guest rooms feature a color palate of driftwood and ocean blues, original artwork, luxurious linens and new modern lighting, providing contemporary comforts. Handsomely furnished balconies extend the coastal experience outdoors.

Luxurious suites and penthouses each feature their own unique décor, with a harmonizing theme of a serene, neutral color palate with chic oceanic accents. Ranging from a calming “Palm” with tones of green and browns to a cooling “Laguna” with shades of blues and grays, to a warm “Wisteria” with shades of lilacs and creams, each suite and penthouse will be accented with earthy tones that compliment the warmth of the property.
