Maine's Cape Arundel Inn & Resort Unveils New Luxury Rooms as Summer Season Begins
Inspired by the seaside setting, the Rockbound Bungalows are infused with soft grays, shades of sky blue and polished aqua, with deep coral accents. Each 400 square-foot, king-bedded room features luxurious Frette fabrics, metallic detailing and contemporary finishes including hardwood flooring, velvet headboards, onyx side tables and custom marble vanities. Equipped with a breakfast bar, each room has a sitting area surrounding a gas fireplace.

To celebrate, the resort is offering a value-added “On The Rocks” package that features a two night stay in the newly designed Rockbound Bungalows. Outfitted with a sleek bar cart fully stocked with customized mixology essentials, guests can sip their cocktail creations from a private balcony overlooking the ocean. A noon departure will ensure ample time to savor morning coffee with a classic Kennebunkport view. Available now through June 22, 2017, package rates start at $379 per night.

Guests in the Rockbound Bungalows and Ocean Suite can also choose to dine al fresco while soaking in their ocean view. The three course dinner requires 72-hours’ notice and is $99 per person, plus $50 per person gratuity, excluding beverages and tax.

Welcomed as privileged visitors to the summer estate of friends, guests of Cape Arundel Inn & Resort will find 14 distinctly appointed, supremely comfortable rooms and social spaces, including the award-winning Ocean restaurant. Named one of OpenTable’s “100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America,” Ocean features inventive French-inspired seafood cuisine from Executive Chef Pierre Gignac in a warm atmosphere with stunning views of the Atlantic. Ocean is serving dinner Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00-9:00pm (seven nights a week beginning May 21st) and breakfast daily for hotel guests.

In addition to the Main House, Cape Arundel Inn & Resort expands to include 15 wooded acres in a secluded cluster of private vintage homes just five minutes away. The Club House features an additional 14 rooms, a three-bedroom cottage, a heated outdoor pool, expansive lawns and the library with a vintage pool table, oversized fire place, and full bar. Ideally suited for indoor parlor games and outdoor lawn games, The Club House provides a social hub for guests to swim or lounge by the pool, find a pick-up game of billiards or bridge, and learn a new game or lawn sport.
