Capri's Villa Le Scale to Reopen After Renovation
Anacapri has become the place to stay to escape the crowds of Capri. The villa is situated high in the hills, originally a summer retreat for Barone Monti delle Corte. It and the nearby and well-known Axel Munthe Museum are two of the few surviving aristocratic homes on the island. The difference is that one is a museum and the other is an intimate luxury boutique hotel.
