Castello di Casole, a 41-Suite Boutique Hotel to Open in Tuscany
A 41-suite boutique luxury hotel is scheduled to open in the restored 10th century Castello (castle) in Spring 2012. The hotel is set at the highest point of a 4,200 acre private Tuscan estate and will include a world-class spa, infinity-edge pool, pizzeria and fine dining restaurant. The hotel will feature five unique styles of suites including the three-bedroom, two-story Bargagli Penthouse. Nightly rates start at 630 Euros (~$900 USD).

Castello di Casole is a signature development of Timbers Resorts, which features fractional and whole-ownership opportunities in artfully restored casali farmhomes. Each residence maintains an authentic Italian feel, with Tuscan décor and amenities, while bringing a contemporary sensibility.

The farmhomes and hotel have been painstakingly handled on the 4,200-acre property with authenticity and historical accuracy. Constructed in traditional Tuscan style without wood or nails, the casali and hotel has been restored using indigenous building materials reclaimed from the property's ruins including ancient stone, traditional terra cotta roof tiles, Murano glass and Carrara marble. Stylish Italian features include barrel-vaulted and exposed-beam ceilings, wood-burning outdoor forno ovens, and private, infinity-edged heated swimming pools. Reputable U.S. interior designers J Banks Design from Hilton Head and Showcase Design from Colorado have collected antiques throughout Italy including L'Origine beds and leather chairs; Patina headboards, bed frames, painted furniture; Artitalia handmade traditional wood furniture; Rubelli fabrics; Callatini hand-painted beds; Gianfranco Ballerini refrigerators; and Peitrus lamps.
