Served in the scenic Lobby Lounge, the Afternoon Tea of Togetherness features a selection of dim sum made with foods symbolizing togetherness and all good things for the new year ahead. The Jade Vegetable Dumpling signifies happiness, good fortune and liveliness. An Emperor Pork and Watercress Wonton symbolizes strength, wealth and close family ties, while the Mandarin Shrimp and Mango Roll represents togetherness and good luck. The Year of the Dragon Duck Wrap symbolizes cleverness, prosperity and joy. This selection of Chinese New Year dim sum is deliciously paired with traditional Chinese tea cakes, Mandarin Oriental, New York's signature ginger scones and your choice from a collection of teas.
The Afternoon Tea of Togetherness is served daily from January 23 - February 5, 2012 from 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm in Mandarin Oriental's Lobby Lounge on the 35th floor and is priced at USD 48 per person, excluding taxes, gratuities and additional beverages.
