This luxuriously uplifting 1 hour 50 minute journey begins with an invigorating full-body scrub combining sea salt, coffee and grapefruit to revive, moisturize and soothe dull-looking skin. The treatment continues with a full-body essential oil aromatherapy massage, finishing with a relaxing head massage to dispel any remaining tension. Mother’s Pampering is available for USD 270 on weekdays and USD 295 on weekends throughout the month of May. As a special gift from The Spa, guests who book this treatment May 1 to 16, 2015 will receive a 3ml Inner Strength bath and shower oil to enjoy at home.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Bar Boulud

To celebrate Mother’s Day, Bar Boulud’s Chef de Cuisine, Aaron Chambers, has created an indulgent three-course prix-fixe Brunch menu, perfect for the entire family. Begin with a choice of appetizer such as: Salade du Liban fresh hummus, cucumber, tomato, red onion, and handmade pita bread served with a sumac vinaigrette; Soupe de Petits Pois, English pea soup served with house cured salmon and za’atar labneh; Tarte Flambée served with bacon lardon, Vidalia onions and a crème fraîche, or Dégustation de Charcuterie chef’s selection of pâtés & terrines.

A choice of entrée includes options such as: Pain Perdu brioche French toast served with poached rhubarb and Sicilian pistachios; Oeuf Poché served with orchard morels, ramps, fiddleheads and lambsquarters; Ricotta Ravioli served with fava beans, confit lemon and a verbena foam; Nova Scotia Halibut served with porcini, Parisian gnocchi and dandelion vin jaune; or Steak Frites Niman Ranch hanger steak served with French fries and a sauce Béarnaise.

Complete brunch with a seasonal dessert from Pastry Chef Robert Differ: Île Flottante steamed meringue served with candied pistachios, cherry jam and crème anglaise; Tiramisu served with mascarpone mousse, Gianduja chocolate, vanilla cream and coffee gelato; or Tarte Basque traditional Basque custard cake served with brandied cherries and vanilla anglaise.
