Celebrate Spring at Nantucket’s 48th-Annual Daffodil Festival and a Stay at Greydon House

Springtime in Nantucket sees sunshine warming up the coastline, resulting in the blooming of millions of daffodils across the island.

This floral phenomenon is celebrated annually during the Nantucket Daffodil Festival (April 25th-28th), now in its 48th year.

The iconic festival consists of food, fanfare, and three different types of parades to mark the beginning of the island’s busy season.

For those attending the Festival, there’s no better place to stay on Nantucket than Greydon House, the Roman and Williams-designed hotel located in the island’s Historic District.

The perfectly positioned property is nestled two blocks away from Main Street, where the Daffodil Festival’s antique car show sees dozens of decorated vintage cars take center stage for the weekend.

Greydon House is also a 10-minute drive from Bartlett’s Ocean View Farm, home to the Nantucket Garden Club’s annual Daffodil Show.
