Celebrate the Glamor of The Great Gatsby in London

Celebrate the Glamor of The Great Gatsby in London
After a Gin Rickey cocktail, F. Scott Fitzgerald's favourite tipple, at The Savoy's ‘American Bar' guests are whisked off to London Victoria station for a wonderful seasonal ‘tasting dinner' aboard the Art Deco vintage carriages of the British Pullman originally from the 1920s and 1930s. This era was the heyday of luxury train travel and the carriages built in this period were the most comfortable, elegant and sumptuous ever constructed which ties in with the decadent style depicted in The Great Gatsby.

Dining on board the British Pullman, as it travels through the Surrey countryside, offers a rare chance to be extravagant, dress up and immerse yourself in all that Art Deco glory. Dinner is served by liveried stewards and accompanied by fine wines and champagne, making it a perfect option for a memorable night out with friends that Gatsby, Daisy and Tom would certainly have enjoyed! Guests return to The Savoy, overlooking the River Thames, to spend a night in a Deluxe Room at this Art Deco landmark that once played host to the author of this American classic F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda.

‘The Dinner' will depart from London Victoria on 5th September, a special 1920s Dinner departs on 24th October and the Laurent-Perrier Dinner departs on 14th November all from London Victoria. Prices start from £685 per person which includes 'The Dinner' on the British Pullman and one night at The Savoy sharing a Deluxe Room.
