Conde Nast Traveler rank Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa #1 in the Northeast
Such is the nature of the Conde Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards, and for the second consecutive year, those discerning guests have placed Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa in Lake Placid, N.Y. at the top of the list in the Northeast.

In its rating of the 20 best properties in the region, the AAA-rated Four Diamond resort, and accompanying Four Diamond dining establishment, The View Restaurant, on the shores of Mirror Lake in Lake Placid, received the highest honors.

The magazine's Readers' Choice Rating scored the Mirror Lake Inn at 93.8 out of 100 points. This number one listing will be found in Conde Nast Traveler's Best in the World issue, soon to appear on newsstands.

“When guests tell you that you are the best at what you do, they are recognizing the level of commitment and respect that our employees have for them,” said Mirror Lake Inn owner Ed Weibrecht. “This honor validates the work that each member of our staff does. They want to make the guest experience better today than yesterday. I thank them for their positive attitudes, and am grateful to our visitors who think so highly of us.”

One year ago, Mirror Lake Inn was also named Conde Nast's top ski hotel in the Northeast and was included in the publication's 2013 Gold List.

Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa's overall reader rating of 93.8 placed it ahead of such iconic Northeastern properties as the Stowe Mountain Lodge and Stoweflake Mountain Resort and Spa, both in Vermont; The Sagamore in Lake George, N.Y.; and the Omni Mount Washington Resort in N.H.
