Cox & Kings Debuts Heritage Line, Southeast Asia Luxury Cruises
Each Heritage Line vessel is unique in its décor and setting and designed with meticulously crafted details to provide a historic sense of place. Authenticity, tradition, art and exploration are at the heart these offerings, making the perfect complement to Cox & Kings' intimate experiences of discovery and one-of-a-kind private handcrafted journeys. For 2017-2018, Cox & Kings will offer the three following itineraries featuring Heritage Line's three destinations each of which can also be customized to incorporate longer cruise opportunities:

Guests can now cruise the Ayeyarwady River onboard Heritage Line's Anawrahta, during the 10-day Exploring Myanmar by Land & River This brand new vessel, which launched earlier this year, offers the finest river cruise experience in Myanmar. The journey begins in Yangon at the majestic Shwedagon Pagoda. From there it is onto the last royal city of Mandalay where guests can marvel at the sunset from the summit of famed Mandalay Hill. It is here that guests will board Heritage's new Anawrahta for a four-night cruise along the Irrawaddy River, past remote villages where rural life has remained the same for centuries. With the largest cabin space on the Ayeyarwady, and the highest crew to passenger ratio, The Anawrahta is the perfect vessel on which to explore Myanmar's mighty River. Built to resemble a British colonial paddle steamer, the elegant 214-feet long Anawrahta features three spacious decks and 23 luxurious cabins.

This exciting 9-day Vietnam & Cambodia featuring Cruising the Mekong journey begins in Siem Reap with a guided discovery of the incredible temples and sanctuaries built by the architects of the Khmer Empire in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Angkor. After three days of exploring the region, including 12th-century masterpiece of Angkor Wat, guests board Heritage Line's Jahan and set sail for three nights along the Mekong River to Vietnam's Mekong Delta. The journey ends in the lively metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City, home to fascinating museums, beautiful pagodas and bustling markets. The Jahan is Heritage Line's most romantic cruise liner. No expense was spared on the interior or exterior décor of this vessel. The Jahan's 26 beautifully-designed cabins on two decks, each with their own private balcony beautifully showcase the talents of local woodworkers, weavers and artists.

Journey through Southeast Asia with Cox & Kings' on the 15-day Southwest Asia: Thailand, Laos, Vietnam & Cambodia. During this immersive journey, guests will stroll through colonial Hanoi, ride an elephant through the lush forest, go underground to explore the Cu Chi tunnels and discover the wondrous temples of Angkor. A trip to the region would not be complete without an overnight private cruise through the stunning limestone landscapes of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay which guests can do in luxury onboard Heritage Line's Jasmine. The Jasmine was built in the traditional style of a Vietnamese junk, with three tawny sails and dark wood-cladding. Her interiors, like the exterior, are covered in polished wood, lending the Jasmine the stately air of an Indochina-era cruising boat.

Guests who book before December 30, 2016 will receive a complimentary upgrade to the next room category on Heritage Line Cruise, a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine on board and a $100 shipboard credit as well as $500 off the above mentioned itineraries: Vietnam & Cambodia, Featuring Cruising the Mekong', 'Southeast Asia: Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, & Cambodia', and 'Exploring Myanmar by Land & River'.
