Cunard & Blue Note Records Offer 'Jazz At Sea' Sailings
This year is no exception -- Cunard has a new partnership with venerable jazz label Blue Note Records, debuting on the “Jazz At Sea” Transatlantic Crossing on flagship ocean liner Queen Mary 2 this fall.

Multiple Grammy® Award-award winner Natalie Cole will headline the first Blue Note Jazz at Sea cruise. Blue Note's 75th anniversary supergroup, Our Point of View, will also offer intimate performances, featuring Grammy® Award winners Robert Glasper and Derek Hodge, as well as acclaimed musicians Keyon Harrold, Marcus Strickland, Lionel Loueke and Kendrick Scott. Don Was, President of Blue Note Records, a celebrated musician and Grammy® Award winning producer, will offer a Q&A as well.

The Crossing, from New York to Southampton, England, departs October 29, 2015 and rates starts at $799 per room, double occupancy. While at sea for seven nights, there will be many performances in a variety of venues around the ship. Jazz lovers can also look forward to two additional special cruises in 2016, and Don Was will personally hand pick those artists from Blue Note Record's renowned group of musicians.

This unique partnership celebrates the two historic, yet innovative, industry leaders. Blue Note Records is the most revered and longest running jazz label in the world and have recorded countless legends including Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Horace Silver, Herbie Hancock, Norah Jones and Van Morrison. Celebrating its 175th anniversary in 2015, Cunard was the first line to offer regularly scheduled Transatlantic service and has been carrying guests between continents with luxury, sophistication and sense of occasion ever since.
