Dunton River Camp at Cresto Ranch Reopens June 1, 2015
With fly fishing on the private waters of the Dolores River and a full menu of other outdoor activities, Dunton River Camp is the ideal destination for travelers looking for memorable outdoor and nature experiences.

Dunton River Camp at Cresto Ranch comprises eight luxurious and spacious 640-square-foot canvas tents on elevated platforms, located in an alpine clearing in the Colorado Rockies. Each tent features a gas heating stove, spacious en-suite bathroom with double vanities, a private lounging porch and two mountain bikes for complimentary guest use.

At the heart of the intimate resort is the main lodge - a restored 19th-century farmhouse - complete with dining room, guest salon and wraparound deck perched just 20 feet from the Dolores River with spectacular views of the San Juan Mountains. Using local and regional ingredients, the chefs at The Farmhouse create a unique daily menu, complemented by award-winning wines from Sutcliffe Vineyards just 30 miles away.

Guests of Dunton River Camp at Cresto Ranch can roam through more than 1,600 acres of wilderness in the San Juan Mountains -- ideal for stargazing, exploring, picnicking, hiking, nature walks and lawn games. This season, guests will also have access to a custom-created Surf Sauna -- a first of its kind at a hotel or resort -- in addition to complimentary access to Dunton Hot Springs' original Bath House, outdoor hot springs and saloon restaurant.

Cresto Ranch will be open from late spring to early fall (June 1st to October 31st); rates start at $1,400 per night (double occupancy) and include all meals and beverages.
