Arusha Coffee Lodge

Day 1
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you’ll be welcomed by an Elewana Afrika representative and ushered to Arusha Coffee Lodge. Stay overnight in a spacious Plantation Suite (each comes with its own butler and four-poster bed swathed in Egyptian linens) set among the coffee fields.

Day 2
After a leisurely breakfast, take a guided tour of the coffee plantation or head into town to check out the local markets; wrap up with a buffet lunch served in the garden. Afterward the journey begins, with a transfer to Arusha Airport to board the Cessna Grand Caravan and fly to the Kuro airstrip in Tarangire National Park. At Tarangire Treetops, a team meets guests for an afternoon game drive in the park before heading to Treetops’ private reserve for a two-night stay in a Tree House. Keep in mind, this is no ordinary treehouse: Here, spacious suites with private balconies sit high up in baobab or marula trees. Day 3
Today you'll choose from a roster of activities that include game drives, a game walk, a visit to an authentic Maasai village and sundowners atop Sunset Hill. All meals are served at Treetops. Overnight at Tarangire Treetops; includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and sundowners.

Day 4
Go for a morning game drive through Tarangire National Park, then stop for a picnic lunch on the way to the Kuro airstrip. From there you'll fly to the Manyara airstrip. On arrival, you’ll have the option to explore an authentic African market in the township of Karatu or head straight to The Manor in time for high tea. This will be the first of two nights in a cottage with a Victorian-style clawfoot bathtub and a view of the plantation. Overnight at The Manor at Ngorongoro; includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinks, laundry service, transfers, game drives and activities.

Day 5
Take an early breakfast and head out on an all-day trip to Ngorongoro Crater. A picnic lunch will be served on the crater floor by the lake, followed by a more in-depth exploration of the crater. Come evening, head back to The Manor for cocktails and dinner. Overnight at The Manor; includes breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner and cocktails.

Day 6
You can visit Lake Manyara National Park or stay at The Manor to explore the estate, then choose from several activities including horseback riding, cycling or a spa treatment (one per person). Of course, you can always simply relax on the grounds. After lunch you’ll be driven to the Manyara airstrip for your onward flight to the Serengeti, where you’ll be met by the Migration Camp team, which will take you on a game drive back to camp. You’ll arrive at Serengeti Migration Camp — where you’ll spend two nights in a safari tent — in time for sundowners. Overnight at the Serengeti Migration Camp; includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinks, laundry service, transfers, game drives and activities.

Day 7
At this point the trip is nearing the close, but it's far from over — and today is all about exploring the vast Serengeti. You’ll have lunch in the bush, followed by a game drive, and arrive back at camp in time for sundowners and dinner. Overnight at the Serengeti Migration Camp; includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and sundowners.

Day 8
In the morning explore the banks of the great Grumeti River on a guided game walk. Next? Enjoy lunch and a game drive en route to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha Coffee Lodge, where you'll have the use of a day room to freshen up and relax before your transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport. This marks the end of your trip unless you opt to extend it by an extra night at Arusha Coffee Lodge, in which case you’ll be upgraded to a Plantation Suite. Overnight at Arusha Coffee Lodge; includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinks, laundry service, transfers, game drives and activities.

Day 9 (optional)
Choose from several activities, including a visit to the Tanzanite Museum, shopping at the Cultural Heritage Art Gallery or an excursion to the busy Maasai Market. Lunch, supper, late check-out and airport transfers are also included. Overnight at Kilindi Zanzibar; includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and a late check-out and airport transfer.
