Food and wine highlights of the nine-day African safari include, but are not limited to:

• Tour of Groot Constantia Manor House, home to a cultural museum dating back to 1791. Tour of the Cloete Cellar followed by lunch at renowned Jonkershuis Restaurant.
• Explore the Franschhoek Valley by foot, bicycle or horseback before a five-course, paired, tasting menu in Le Quartier's renowned Tasting Room.

Guests arrive in Johannesburg and travel to Singita Ebony (pictured above), a luxury safari lodge, for three nights. Singita Ebony is set in a 45,000 acre private reserve within the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. The Sabi Sands is one of the best game-viewing areas in South Africa and Ebony is the ultimate safari lodge for wine lovers. Enjoy daily game drives with expert guides, a private dinner in the lodge's renowned wine cellar and tastings with the resident Sommelier.

On day four guests return to Cape Town and meet their private wine guide who will escort them for the remainder of the trip. For their first three nights in the Winelands they will stay at Cellars-Hohenort located in Constantia, South Africa's oldest wine region. Explore notable wineries including Klein Constantia Estate (producers of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Shiraz); Groot Constantia (oldest wine producing farm in South Africa) and Steenberg Estate (known for its Sauvignon Blanc Reserve and Merlot). Guests will also spend a day visiting Table Mountain and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve before returning to Constantia in the late afternoon via helicopter, taking in panoramic views and breathtaking scenery.

The last two days are a spent in a gourmand's haven in Franschhoek Valley. Here, enjoy some of the best restaurants in South Africa including the Tasting Room at Le Quartier where Chef Margot Janse prepares a delectable mélange of French, Malay and traditional South African dishes.
