Esperanza Resort Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary with Specials
Beginning May 1, 2012, guests can rediscover why a decade after opening, Esperanza is still one of the most celebrated resorts in Cabo with commemorative offerings including a “Feliz Cumpleanos” package featuring a fourth night free and a bottle of Esperanza’s exclusive private label sparkling wine, a Mexican-style summer clam bake and cooking class with Executive Chef Gonzalo Cerda on the resort’s private beach, and a tequila “Spa Pairing” at the luxury resort’s award-winning spa.

Esperanza Resort’s 10th Anniversary summer specials include:

• Feliz Cumpleanos Package: Guests can enjoy more than 35% off of standard rates this summer with the Feliz Cumpleaños package. Available for stays beginning May 1, the package offers guests a fourth night free in addition to a complimentary bottle of Esperanza’s private label sparkling wine, a special welcome amenity, roundtrip airport transfers, breakfast daily and more.

• Mexican Beach Clambake: Inspired by the traditional beach clambakes of the Eastern United States, Esperanza puts its own twist on a summer classic. Guests will assist Chef Cerda in preparing an intimate clambake on the resort’s private beach by selecting the best local catches of seafood including Pacific and indigenous chocolata clams, black mussels, Baja lobster and scallops from the Sea of Cortez, all served with grilled potatoes, corn on the cob, sweet potatoes and lemon butter sauce. This two-hour culinary experience is offered each Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. for $135 per person (class includes all ingredients, dessert and a glass of house wine; 2 person minimum).

• Summer Spa Pairing: Available beginning June 1, this decadent duo pairs Esperanza’s new Tequila Soother body treatment with a signature Paloma cocktail. The Tequila Soother treatment begins with a salt and lime body exfoliation prepared by Executive Chef Gonzalo Cerda using pure salts from nearby Guerrero Negro. The guest's journey continues with an aloe vera and honey mask, complete with a fresh bouquet of mint leaves, followed by a tequila agave body wrap. Guests will also enjoy a light facial with a yogurt and oats based mask that is removed with cantaloupe and cucumber juice to help improve and enhance skin tone. Guests will conclude their experience with a full body massage that uses an agave-enriched massage oil then head to the outdoor relaxation lounge for Esperanza’s signature Paloma cocktail consisting of white tequila, grapefruit and lime juice. ($335 per person for 2 hour spa treatment and tequila pairing).

Esperanza encompasses a 57-room resort, 60 privately owned villas, 36 private residences, a full-service spa and several signature dining outlets, located on the bluffs overlooking two private coves at Punta Ballena near Cabo San Lucas. The resort is a member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux collection. Special Offers: https://www.esperanzaresort.com/reservations/SpecialOffers.html.
