Exceptional Beach House in Cuixmala, Mexico Available for First Time
Cuixmala is a family compound built by architect Robert Couturier, who made history in 1987 when Sir James Goldsmith chose him to create what would amount to be the single greatest private commission of modern times. Casa La Playa is comprised of spacious living room(s) with outdoor living terrace, dining room, master suite with private ocean view terrace, and two guest suites, all embraced by lush tropical gardens. The long wide stretch of sand is shared only with pelicans which glide by or the occasional passing whale.

Since Alix Goldsmith-Marcaccini opened Cuixmala to international travelers in 2003, her late father Sir James Goldsmith's legendary 25,000 acre formerly private estate has become a home-away-from-home to new friends from around the world. Boasting unparalleled ecological credentials and set on 3km of private coast along the Pacific, Cuixmala is formed of land, lagoons and beaches and features vast wildlife, unspoiled beaches and personalized service. Activities include releasing sea turtles, horseback riding, spa treatments, polo grounds and golf courses, lagoon tours, snorkeling, boating and kayaking as well as nature walks and bird watching.
