Exclusive Resorts Reports 50 Percent Increase in Sales for 2010
Exclusive Resorts, the world's leading luxury destination club, today announced that sales of new memberships and membership upgrades totaled $66 million in 2010, an increase of more than 50 percent compared to 2009. Under the leadership of Revolution LLC Founder and AOL Co-Founder Steve Case, who serves as Exclusive Resorts Chairman, the Club is at the forefront of an upswing in luxury travel for families focused on making the most of their vacation time together.

"Our 2010 sales demonstrate what our 3,300 members have long known: Exclusive Resorts is the best, most convenient way to enjoy luxury vacations with family and friends, in 50 destinations across all seven continents," said Mr. Case. "Our 2010 results also suggest a rebound for luxury travel as we move into 2011. People are willing to spend on the things that are most important to them, like memorable vacation experiences, and increasingly understand the value of a Club like Exclusive Resorts."

The company has built a $100 million annual revenue stream by providing families large luxury homes, personalized service, and reliable excellence, trip after trip, year after year. Through more than 120,000 vacations delivered since its founding in 2002, overall satisfaction with Exclusive Resorts travel has exceeded 90 percent every year, including a 95 percent rating in 2010.

"What we offer is one-of-a-kind in the marketplace," commented Exclusive Resorts Chief Executive Officer Jeff Potter. "Vacations are precious time, so we leave nothing to chance. We design, own, and maintain the vast majority of our residences. We equip and furnish them ourselves with high-end amenity packages custom-selected for our members' tastes. We have honed our distinctive service approach over more than eight years. Our dedicated travel advisors and onsite concierges know our members' preferences and the details that make each trip special. This deep expertise enables us to provide exactly what every luxury traveler is looking for on every vacation: complete peace of mind, with time that is all their own."

To meet the needs of the changing luxury travel marketplace in 2010, Exclusive Resorts also innovated its Club offerings, creating flexible payment plans that make membership more accessible than ever, and adding family sharing privileges at no charge as a standard benefit so members can send extended family on their own Club vacations. The company continued to expand the variety of vacation options it offers its members, with 65 new luxury residences added in just the last two years in destinations including Lake Tahoe, CA; Sea Island, GA; Kapalua Bay, Maui; Miraval Arizona; Las Vegas, NV; and Steamboat Springs, CO.

In addition, Exclusive Resorts offers members a collection of unique "Once in a Lifetime" travel experiences in the far corners of the world, from Tanzania to Patagonia to the Galapagos, each with the same hallmark convenience, trust, and service it provides in its core resort destinations. Closer to home, the Club has also announced two upcoming, never-before-offered trips for members featuring VIP-access at The Kentucky Derby and The Masters Tournament in Augusta, GA, and continues to expand its program of members-only insider travel benefits and privileges.
