The Art of Island Living package

Montpelier Plantation & Beach is known to have one of the best Caribbean hotels for art, and its striking large canvases in the public areas may be purchased right off the walls. The Art of Island Living package has been created to bring out the artistic talents of the resort's guests. It includes:

  • Three nights' accommodations

  • Half-day hands-on cooking session with Chef Stéphane Caumont followed by lunch

  • Half-day art lesson led by Nevis's own Deborah Tyrell, well-known artist and owner of Island Living gallery shop


Package starts at $1,385 for Premier Room; $2,205 for Plantation Room in Low Season. For High Season, package starts at $2,205 for Premier Room; $3,025 for Plantation Room. (Closed for season: August 12 to October 10; blackout dates: December 20 to January 10.)

Complimentary Yoga Retreat

Available Monday, July 5, through Wednesday, July 15

Nydia Petrosino, a highly qualified and credentialed fitness and wellness instructor specializing in yoga and dance, will visit the resort and lead yoga sessions. In addition, guests may schedule private 60-minute yoga sessions with Petrosino while they are at Montpelier Plantation & Beach at a fee of $100 per session.

New Outdoor Spa Area

Montpelier opens a newly created Outdoor Spa Area offering Caribbean Experiences including its 80-minute Ginger Lemongrass Warm Stone Massage for $145 and the 60-minute Soul to Sole Massage for $95. There are also Classic Massages and Facials available, as well as the Montpelier Signature Package that includes a revitalizing classic Swedish massage and oxygen facial treatment, 120 minutes for $180. All available amidst a tropical setting.



Newly Launched Full Moon Parties

June 2, July 2, July 31 (Blue Moon), August 14 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

These moonlit evening parties feature live music and a bonfire at Montpelier Beach. Party fare is highlighted by a variety of salads, gazpacho, smoked wahoo, grilled lobster, grilled mahi mahi, BBQ pork ribs, selection of side dishes, chocolate liégeois, lemon & fruit tarts and madeleines. $68 per person.

West Indies Sunday Breakfast Buffet at Restaurant 750

Every Sunday from 8 to 10:30 a.m.

A delicious breakfast buffet is prepared for guests at Restaurant 750. Dining choices include a selection of eggs or omelettes, Johnny cakes, salt fish, fried plantains, cucumber salad, housemade yogurt, fresh fruits, cereals, homemade breakfast pastries with jam, honey and lemon curd, fresh juices and hot beverages. $25 per person.

New Juice Bar

Available daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Indigo Bar

With the motto, “Juice – it's more powerful than you might think,” Indigo Bar creates on-the-spot prepared delicious, healthy juices to perk up and rejuvenate guests all day. Among the fruit juices are Can't Beet It – a good energy juice made from beetroot, spinach, carrot, apple and ginger; The Turbo Express – composed of orange, pineapple, apple and ginger to boost the immune system; Fruity Fiesta – made with banana, grapefruit, apple and pineapple to help cleanse the digestive system; and It's Mint to Be – a natural body detox containing orange, grapefruit, melon and mint. $6 each.

Sunset BBQ at Montpelier Beach

Mondays from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

On the resort's private beach, Sunset BBQ features a delectable selection of Caribbean BBQ favorites including Shrimp Cocktail and Cucumber & Lemongrass Gazpacho; Grilled Lobster, Suckling Pig, Jerk Chicken Skewers and Grilled Vegetables; accompanied by rice and beans, potato salad and Caesar salad. The evening, complete with live local music performances, ends with sweet Mini Lemon Tartelette and Chocolate Liégeois. $68 per person includes the BBQ dinner and a welcome cocktail.

Rum Tastings

Every Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Held at Indigo and led by Nevis resident rum aficionado Mark Theron, a flight of aged rums is sipped and guests learn about unique rum brands, the distillation process and the Caribbean's rich rum history. $75 per person for Rum Tastings; $120 for Rum Tastings and Dinner at Indigo.

Lazy BBQ Lunch

Thursdays at 12 noon

At Montpelier Beach every Thursday, there's a fun-filled, relaxing BBQ Lunch Buffet of salads, gazpacho, grilled lobster, chicken skewers, side dishes, fruit salad and cookies. True to tradition, guests play a pre-lunch game of cricket, with a bottle of wine prize for the winner. All to be enjoyed with lively steelpan performances on the beach. $40 per person.



Indigo Rocks with Live Music

Sundays starting at 7 p.m.

On Sundays, the resort's casual eatery, Indigo, becomes a great place to enjoy local music talents while dining on favorite island dishes and enjoying fine wines, rare rums, cigars and artisan cocktails.
