Fairmont Royal Pavilion, Barbados Announces Renovation
The hotel lobby and all 72 guest rooms and suites will be completely transformed with a scheduled completion date of November 15, 2017, followed by a restaurant renovation in summer 2018. Internationally renowned design agency Richmond International has been commissioned to oversee the overall design concept, drawing inspiration from the hotel's plantation heritage and stunning oceanfront location.

The hotel will remain open from August 21 through September 28, 2017, with all amenities, food and beverage services, and activity options unaffected. The renovation during these dates has been phased thoughtfully to ensure minimal disruption to the hotel's valued guests.

In an effort to minimize impact to the high levels of service and top-quality guest experience for which Fairmont is known, the hotel will be closed for the invasive part of the renovation, from late September to mid-November 2017. Guests with existing bookings during this period are being contacted directly with information about available options and next steps.

A number of colleagues and departments will work through the closure to ensure a smooth renovation and transition back to opening.

The newly renovated Fairmont Royal Pavilion is scheduled to re-open on November 12, 2017.
