Fall in Venice: Enjoy a cocktail at The Bauers' B-BAR
The area includes monuments such as the San Marco Basilica, the Campanile and the Palazzo Ducale making it the most attractive and visited part of the city. Walk around the sestiere and you will find Venice's most expensive boutiques as well as its most exclusive hotels and restaurants. After your walk, what better way to relax than by stopping at the B-Bar to enjoy the beautiful view and a signature cocktail.

The B-Bar is the lounge of the BAUERs Hotel, located directly on the Grand Canal just a few minutes stroll from San Marco Square. Here guests can kick back, relax and enjoy the romantic sights and sounds of Venice while sipping on specialty signature drinks created by Bartender Gennaro Florio, such as the “B Sensation” (see recipe below).

The B-Bar has become a popular night-spot among Venetians, young travelers seeking out Venice's exciting nightlife, and celebrities and socialites including Daniel Craig, Madonna, Jeremy Irons, Sharon Stone and Sting.

From Wednesday to Sunday the B-Bar becomes a trendy night-club; creative cocktails and live music make it the perfect venue to conclude one's evening after a dinner or stroll in San Marco.

B SENSATION

1 Wild Flower Hibiscus;
3 cl. St. Germain;
2 cl. Bitter Campari;
1 cl. Vermouth dry;
5-6 cl. Prosecco brut.

Pour the Hibiscus into a chilled Champagne Glass. In a mixing glass add 6 cubes of ice and the St. Germain, Campari, Vermouth dry and Prosecco. Stir briefly. Strain into champagne glass with hibiscus. Lemon twist to the end.

The BAUERs hotel also offers a private, elegant respite from the hustle and bustle of the city at its Canale Bar. Bordering the Grand Canal, the Canale Bar offers spectacular views of the main waterway of Venice and the Chiesa della Salute from its outdoor terrace (open in the summer only). As cold months approach, you will be able to experience a delightful tea-time treat, with a fine selection of international blends and freshly baked pastries in the cozy Venetian Red Room.
