Ferragamo's Villa Le Rose in Tuscany Launches Exclusive Experiences
There are myriad ways to experience the delights of Tuscany, but few compare to the NEW services and amenities at Villa Le Rose of Lungarno Collection, a luxury hospitality group owned by the Ferragamo family. The private, 16th-century estate is situated among the Certosa hills of the Chianti region just minutes from Florence's gates and remains the perfect address for soaking up Tuscan splendor.

Guests of Villa Le Rose have new, exclusive services and amenities to choose from. All prices are upon request:

• Private Cooking Classes: If guests wish to be more hands on in the kitchen, the region's premier chefs can reveal the art of Tuscan cuisine with a private cooking class in the villa kitchen. Cooking classes, ranging from one to three hours, are available and can be arranged for up to ten people. Learn the art to creating the traditional Florentine soup, Ribollita; Pappardelle al Cinghiale; or "Gnudi" a creation of ricotta cheese gnocchi with spinach and tomatoes.

• Lamborghinis, Ducatis and Vespas: Italy may be known for its food and fashion, but don't forget the other export: motor vehicles. Guests can enjoy a guided, private visit of the nearby Ducati and Lamborghini factories, or take off on their own Vespa and explore the roads and alleyways of Tuscany and Florence.

• Private Wine Cellar Tastings: Wine enthusiasts will enjoy being chauffeured in a limousine in the idyllic Chianti countryside to wine tastings in private cellars including Antinori and Frescobaldi, in the company of an expert sommelier.

• Private Hunting Excursion: For those looking to add some adventure to their culinary experience, take off in the villa's Jeep with experienced guides and all the equipment for three hours to comb the area for game, including wild boar and pheasant. The catch of the day can also be taken back and prepared for guests by the villa's private chef.

• Seasonal Dishes by the Villa's Private Chef: For those who want to indulge their palates and enjoy a more relaxed stay, guests can request the villa's private chef and butler service available 24 hours. The chef is on-hand to create unique and seasonal dishes to the region, such as "arrosto" with black or the rare white truffles in November, which is peak truffle season in Tuscany.

Arrayed magnificently in the architectural style of the Italian Renaissance, Villa Le Rose first became a private address for the Medici family and expanded in the 18th century. Today, the villa can accommodate 12 guests through six suites, with period furnishings and rich decorations throughout. The main Sala delle Feste is dressed up with original frescoes, while a sizable ballroom is a fabulous example of expansion-period architecture. Secure the Imperial Suite for its grand canopy bed and frescoed private bathroom with fireplace. All bedrooms open onto panoramic views of the Chianti countryside and the villa's private cedar garden is planted with antique rose bushes, potted lemon trees and towering Lebanon cedar.

Villa Le Rose's weekly rates start at €25,000 (approximately $33,117), with the above new offerings available at extra cost.
