5 Shangri-La Hotels Make Travel+Leisure's World's Best List

- Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong
- Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai
- Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok

The "T+L 500" results are based upon the 2008 "World's Best Awards" survey in which Travel + Leisure subscribers evaluated hotels on five characteristics: rooms and facilities, location, service, restaurants and food, and value. The publication calculated the average rating of each characteristic and tabulated each property's overall score.
