The Spa's skilled practitioners focus on natural elements of the Pacific Northwest to deliver memorable treatments that are restorative to both body and spirit.

The 6,000-square-foot Spa features eight treatment rooms including a couples' treatment suite with a private soaking tub and views overlooking Puget Sound. Separate full-service men's and women's changing areas each have a eucalyptus steam room, and a relaxation lounge is available for pre- and post-treatment pampering. A sauna is included in the women's changing area.

The Spa's soothing décor of water, basalt rock and glass tile captures the serenity of nature. and provides privacy and intimacy during each guest-centered experience.

The rooftop terrace with the city's only heated, 40-foot outdoor infinity-edge pool swimming Spa rituals represent the best of the ancient healing practices from various cultures to provide key therapeutic benefits for guests. The Oenikika Purification Ritual offers a modern twist on traditional indigenous relaxation practices by incorporating heated sage oil into a deep-tissue massage. In addition to massage, guests of The Spa can choose from a full range of calming and revitalizing services, including skincare, facial, manicure and pedicure, offered in a private suite. Other treatment journeys include The Ultimate Unwind and The Fragrant Earth, combining mineral soaks and soothing herb and organic infusions into a cleansing massage experience.

The unique menu of Spa treatments draw on distinctive Northwest elements including balsam fir, coffee and cedar. Fragrance-free options are also available to guests. The Spa uses products in the Naturopathica line for body and the Skinceuticals line for face.

Fitness Centre

The Hotel's 1,280-square-foot Fitness Centre with TechnoGym cardio, free weights and strength-training equipment opens onto the fourth-floor terrace, where an infinity-edge pool and open fireplace provide a tranquil outdoor retreat from the city's energy. Sophisticated and modern exercise equipment supports individual workout programs with an interactive entertainment system. Guests can watch television or listen to music, while built-in computers guide them through each exercise. Personal trainers are available, in addition to personalized service from an ever-present attendant, providing chilled bottled water and fresh towels.

Golf

Preferred tee times are offered to Hotel guests at several first-rate golf courses in the area. Within a 25-minute drive, The Golf Club at Newcastle offers two 18-hole public courses. Coal Creek course and China Creek course are surrounded by 350 acres of property presenting panoramic views of Mount Rainier, the Olympic Mountains and the Cascade Mountains. The club offers extensive practice facilities and a fully appointed clubhouse. Other courses within an hour's drive include Druids Glen, The TPC at Snoqualmie Ridge and Chambers Bay Golf Course.

Four Seasons guests are offered preferred access to one of the city's top tennis facilities. Just 15 minutes from the Hotel, The Amy Yee Tennis Centre features ten indoor and four outdoor hard courts available year-round. The Centre also offers private lessons, classes and instruction.

Jogging Trails

Seattle offers a number of scenic downtown jogging routes for guests. The path stretches 2 to 4 miles round-trip along the downtown waterfront to the Olympic Sculpture Park. Maps are available from the Concierge.
