Four Seasons Maldives Host World Championship Surfing Competition
With just six weeks to go, U.S. pro-surfer Taylor "TK" Knox has confirmed he'll be heading back to Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa to defend his title at the fourth annual Surfing Champions Trophy 2014, along with the recently announced participation of David Rastovich of Australia and Fabio Gouveia of Brazil. A unique event on the surfing calendar, the invitation-only contest sees six ex-World Champions battle it out across three divisions of board – retro single-fin, twin-fin and contemporary triple-fin – for kudos and the USD $25,000 purse.

"I'm totally stoked to be taking part again this year," commented American legend Knox. "It's such an awesome contest. I mean, what could be better than a few days hanging out on the Maldives' breaks for some friendly wave rivalry, then chilling out in paradise in the evenings? I can't wait to see who I'll be pitted against this year!"
