Learn to Fly – For those who like to be 'hands-on', novice pilots can get behind the 'wheel' of a plane and learn to fly and perform basic flight maneuvers such as takeoff, cruise and land in sky-high adventures with Maui Flight Academy. Fly in between Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, directly over the active volcano vent, travel alongside tall sea cliffs to Molokai before heading over the lush West Maui mountains, finally landing in Hana to explore the rain forest on a 2-4 hour experience. Horseback RidingEscape on horseback into the hills surrounding Kōʿele, once the center of ranching operations on the island, or explore the wooded valleys and trails of this extraordinary upland terrain, home to axis deer, Mouflon sheep, quail and turkey. It doesn't take long to reach views of both neighboring islands of Maui and MolokaÊ¿i along with beautiful overlooks of the vast landscape of LānaÊ¿i.
