Hatha Yoga Retreat at Amangiri in Utah, February 17-20, 2012

Hatha Yoga Retreat at Amangiri in Utah, February 17-20, 2012
To coincide with Amangiri's Season of Adventure and Rejuvenation, Amangiri will host yoga teacher Rocky Heron for an all-level Hatha Yoga Retreat this coming February.

Rocky Heron first found his way to yoga as a teenager through Bryan Kest's Power Yoga in Santa Monica, California. Since then, he has studied yoga with some of the world's leading yoga masters including Dharma Mittra, Leslie Kaminoff, Noah Maze and Krista Cahill. Today Rocky teaches retreats and workshops around the world and is a senior instructor and teacher trainer at The Yoga Centre in San Luis Obispo, CA.

The Aman Spa at Amangiri is a 2,322-square meter (25,000-square feet) destination unto itself, providing a serene destination for relaxation and renewal. The Yoga Pavilion features bamboo floors and opens onto a canyon wall, while other facilities include: the Water Pavilion with steam rooms, sauna and hydrotherapy pools; the Fitness Center; five candlelit treatment rooms; two outdoor treatment terraces; and the Salon for manicures and pedicures. Outdoor activities under crisp blue skies in the resort's breathtaking surrounds include horse riding, via ferrata climbing routes, hiking and mountain biking – all ideal complements to the daily yoga sessions.
