I live in High Pines, a neighborhood walking distance from South Miami, Coral Gables, and Ponce-Davis, with Coconut Grove and Pinecrest just a couple miles away. If you were to pick a place to live in south Miami-Dade, all of these communities are excellent options. They’re in similar orbits and a quick drive from Brickell. Ultimately, home is where the heart is, so the “best” place is where the stars align for you. That said, many people choose to pay premiums for a turnkey home, but it’s important to note that getting your hands dirty with a fixer-upper adds value back by yourself and is the best investment you can make today.
