Hotel de Russie, Rome Unveils New Suites

Both have been redesigned by Olga Polizzi, Director of Design at Rocco Forte Hotels, in the style of private apartments, uniquely adorned with original artworks and antique furniture. The team has endeavoured to keep the original feel of Hotel de Russie and to stay true to its location in the centre of Rome.

The Popolo Suite offers an exclusive stay with a private and generous terrace overlooking the iconic Piazza del Popolo. The suite features a generous and elegantly furnished master bedroom, including a walk-in wardrobe. The spacious suite has both a comfortable sitting and dining area and the main bathroom is decorated with beautiful Calacatta Oro Italian marble.

Suite Picasso, named after the famous painter who stayed at the hotel in 1917, features small touches hinting at the hotel's relationship with the artist and offers a breath-taking view over the Secret Garden. It features an exquisitely designed living room, a separate dining room with a private fully serviced bar and a small library. The bedroom has been opened up to allow natural light throughout the whole suite, giving it a bright and airy feel.

Guest experiencing the new suites will also be entitled to the ‘backstage passes', ranging from private shopping tours, art and culture visits, wine tasting session and running tours with a personal trainer.
