Hotel Le Bristol Paris & Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc Announce Renovations
From a $32.8 million renovation at the Hôtel Le Bristol, Paris and a $27.4 million renovation and expansion at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, to the introduction and renovation of top-category suites at Château Saint-Martin & Spa and second Michelin star at Brenner’s Park-Hotel & Spa.

Hôtel Le Bristol, Paris is enhancing the property with a $32.8 million renovation planned for completion in mid-2011. In March, a 2,583-square-foot, two-bedroom suite encompassing the entire eighth floor will debut. The suite will feature dual views of Le Bristol gardens -- the largest of any Parisian hotel -- and shopping landmark Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré. In May, the French-style Le Bristol Spa will double in size to include 10 treatment rooms, as well as a separate fitness center area complete with childcare.

Also in May, the property’s signature, three-Michelin-star Gastronomic Restaurant, whose location within the hotel changes seasonally, will move into one permanent space, the restaurant’s current summer venue. The venue will undergo an extensive redesign that will include expansive views of the hotel’s garden, a chef’s table and fireplace. These projects are part of an ongoing investment program by the Oetker Hotel Collection which annually contributes approximately $6.5 million to the hotel’s renovations.

Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc is currently undergoing a $27.4 million renovation to its guestrooms and public areas and will add two new suites and five deluxe rooms. The Eden-Roc Suite will also be enhanced with a garden and Jacuzzi on the 2,690-square-foot terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The updates will modernize guestrooms, outfitting them with LED TVs and iPod stations, while the public areas will be equipped with Wi-Fi and new air conditioning units in the corridors. The wood flooring in the Bellini Bar and marble in the main lobby will also be refurbished. The hotel is closed during these renovations and will reopen April 15, 2011.

Château Saint-Martin & Spa, located on the French Riviera, is preparing for its annual property updates with the addition of a 730-square-foot suite, featuring a double terrace and views of the Mediterranean Sea; the renovation of 10 Junior Suites; and the addition of Salon Chagall, a 600-square-foot meeting lounge. The restaurant at Brenner’s Park-Hotel & Spa, in Lichtentaler Allee private park in Baden-Baden, Germany, recently received its second Michelin star.
