Hotel Le Bristol's Summer Garden Offers Relaxation in Heart of Paris
This marvelous terrace overlooks the hotel's 1,200 square meter “French-style” garden where guests can admire an array of tulips, narcissuses, daffodils, laburnums, anthemia, azaleas and rhododendrons. With the bird songs and the gentle bubbling of the “Fontaine aux Amours” fountain forming a remarkably peaceful backdrop, the Epicure's French and international clientele can sample the authentic, generous and refined cuisine of the three-star chef Eric Frechon and tuck into the mouth-watering desserts produced by the pastry chef Laurent Jeannin, while relaxing in the shade of the white parasols.

The terrace's cast iron tables are covered with immaculate cotton-linen tablecloths from Garnier-Thiebaut and decorated with flower arrangements including roses and seasonal flowers. The white porcelain serving plates were produced by Raynaud in Limoges. This collection of four separate plates featuring floral patterns brings to mind the hotel's splendid rose garden. The light reflects enchantingly from the Marly-style silver tableware by Christofle and the hand cut Baccarat crystal glasses, specially designed for the Epicure. Still on the garden theme, a Baccarat crystal butterfly graces every table in the gourmet restaurant. Everything has been painstakingly designed to be in perfect harmony with the surrounding natural setting. At nightfall, there's nothing like a candlelit dinner to really appreciate this gentle, peaceful atmosphere.

Just a few meters from the Epicure, Le Bar du Bristol, run by head barman Pascal Havel, looks forward to welcoming its customers in this outstanding garden for a tasty snack or a refreshing drink at any time of day.

Le Bristol's garden offers a fairy-tale setting in the very heart of Paris.
