Hotel Saint-Barth Isle de France Re-Opens for the Season with a Fresh New Look

Each of the 40 rooms, the main public areas and La Case de L’Isle, the hotel’s signature al fresco restaurant, have now been completely refurbished.

Bee Osborn of Osborn Interiors has transformed each of the remaining guestrooms - five villas, three garden rooms and a hillside bungalow – with interiors that enhance the charm of the French West Indies, with a nod to St. Barth’s heritage. This refreshed, elegant look is complemented by ever-more attention to detail and service delivered by an increased number of dedicated staff, ensuring that the many repeat guests are surprised and delighted each season.

Also new for 2013/14 is:

• La Case De L’Isle Champagne Lounge – each month a notable Champagne house hosts this glamorous pop-up on the edge of the hotel’s magnificent freshwater swimming pool, with plunging views over the beach and ocean. Moët & Chandon takes the stage on November 27, with Ruinart and Dom Pérignon playing host for the December and January dates.

• La Cabane de L’Isle – a new beach-front cabana, perfect for a relaxing, feet-in-the-sand lunch with superb views over the sea. In the evenings, this tented retreat can be transformed for a private romantic sunset cocktail or a beautiful dinner party.

• New Butler Service – guests staying in the hotel’s two most luxurious residences, the ocean-front Flamands Villas, and the one-bedroom Beach Suite can now enjoy a personal butler and concierge service to help with packing, unpacking, restaurant reservations, personal shopping and much more…

Executive Head Chef, Yann Vinsot serves a French-Caribbean menu of fresh and elegant dishes inspired by his upbringing on the coast of Brittany and love of the sea; a known friendly face to the hotel’s regular guests, he enthusiastically fulfils any special requests with creativity and simplicity. This tasty cuisine is delivered in a relaxed environment, with warm and caring service. Vinsot trained under celebrated French chefs, including Marc Meneau and Antoine Westermann and has been employing his culinary passion to Hotel Saint-Barth Isle de France since 2010.
