Widder Hotel guestroom art

Widder Hotel, a member of Leading Hotels of the World in Zurich, Switzerland, comprises nine medieval houses decorated with 15th-century frescoes. Every room is individually styled to mix the past, represented in the unusual circular rooms and passages, which refer to the Roman well uncovered during construction; and the modern, seen in furnishings created by such design greats as Charles and Ray Eames, and Frank Lloyd Wright.

A wealth of paintings, sculptures and artworks adorn the guest rooms, lobby, restaurants and conference facilities by renowned artists, including Andy Warhol, Raffael Benazzi, Aldo Rossi, Alberto Giaocmetti, Augusto Giacometti, Serge Poliakoff and more. Robert Rauschenberg has designed and created a picture for the stairway in the Penthouse Suite.
