Ian Schrager's London EDITION Offers Holiday Afternoon Tea
The new menu at Berners Tavern, under the direction of Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton, features teas hand-blended in small batches, as well as a sweet treat selection with British classics such as brown sugar tart and strawberry trifle.

Located in the heart of Fitzrovia, just a short stroll from Soho and Chinatown, the iconic landmark hotel (which opened last fall) features 173 wood-panelled rooms with original artwork and a penthouse suite with 360-degree views. Inspired by the classic muted colors of Johannes Vermeer paintings and American artist Donald Judd, Berners Tavern has taupe coloured walls, dusty rose chairs, with a subtle play between modern and period design. Two large custom bronze chandeliers, inspired by NYC's Grand Central Station, scale down the original 18-foot ceilings.
